In the history of the World Series- there have been 12 series where a team had a roofed stadium.
1987, 1991 Twins; 1992-1993 Blue Jays; 2001 Diamondbacks; 2005 Astros; 2008 Rays; 2017, 2019 Astros; 2020 at Globe Life; 2022 Astros; 2023 Rangers and Diamondbacks.
In those 12 series, at least 1 game had a game where they either had the roof open for a game, they played an opponent with an open stadium, or in 2020 Games 1,2 and 4 had the roof open, and in 2023 Games 3-5 at Chase Field in Phoenix had the roof open.
Tonight- Game 1 in Milwaukee has the roof closed. If they don’t open it tomorrow, there is a chance this would be the first series in history where every game has the roof closed.
I am calling on MLB to not make that history! Milwaukee is a beautiful stadium- I saw two games there in 2023, one with the roof open and one closed, and it is so much nicer with the open air.
*Edit- 14 series, including 2021 Astros and 2025 Blue Jays
Multiple edits because I am dumb.
