Wife hired some contractors because she thought we had rats in the attic. To me, it seems like they just smeared drywall compound everywhere and it looks sloppy. Is this typical? Would you accept this type of work?

And either way, how do I go about cleaning this up? Anyone know how to remove drywall compound hand prints from roof shingles?
