Early Verdict The Lofree Hyzen offers dual mechanical/magnetic compatibility, and not just in the socket, but the switches themselves, too! It's currently in Kickstarter, but will retail for an enormous $279 MSRP when it launches fully. Based on my early access sample, I would advise holding off until full production at least. My review samples demonstrated QC issues, janky software and issues with the mechanical switch mode. Sure, it's dashingly pretty, lovely to type on, and excellent for gaming... but you want a board that fully works, right?
