I passed three interview rounds and finished documentation. Tomorrow is the salary call. My current pay is severely below market rate, so a standard 20% bump won't work. I need a 60%–70%+ market correction.

Since my documents are processed, I know they want me. However, I’m nervous about how HR will react to such a massive percentage jump.

How do I convince HR to pay based on the role's market value rather than my past low salary? Any advice?
