As MobLand heads into its final few episodes of Season 2, the endgame is still somewhat elusive. That said, more than ever, it seems that Harry (Tom Hardy) will always figure out a way to have one ace up his sleeve. In fact, Season 2, Episode 7 is called “Ace of Spades,” which could refer to the ending of the episode, in which Harry figures out how to get himself and Paul (Emmett J. Scanlan) out of a dangerous situation with Frankie Cooper (Johnny Flynn). The title also might refer to the fact that all of this goes down in a casino, or it may even suggest that some other character, one who does not appear in this episode, could be the key to everything.

Though “Ace of Spades” ended with Harry making a move against Frankie’s family, the biggest unanswered question is still about Harry’s family, specifically, his estranged wife, Jan (Joanne Froggatt). In other words, where is Jan?…
