Hi,

I have a song in 4/4 with a bridge in it that switches the key and the mood of the song. before that the guitar strums one big time with a little pause between actually transitioning into the bridge.

This last guitar bar (with the little pause included) is exactly 5 beats and a half (half a full beat, meaning we start the bridge on the up beat).

Before anyone says make it to fit the bar, it is the natural timing to go into the bridge, it feels rushed otherwise.

Is there a way in logic to write 5 beats and a half ? Or to write the bar of the bridge as starting half a beat later on the grid ? Otherwise it is a mess to record and time the rest of the song.
