So I had this Sow True seeds pollinator pack and direct sowed them the first week of July in Nashville. This big Bertha was 2’ by mid July and then by September, a long hot summer heat wave and tying her up because she was so big, I almost pulled her out of the ground once October arrived in disappointment even though the internet kept saying don’t give up hope. All it took was 75 degrees and she exploded overnight! She’s still blooming and branching, not just growing upwards, and I haven’t had to do anything special except knock some aphids off pretty early in the growing stage. Today she measured 11’ which is INSANE to me. One tiny seed. Never done that before and she has so many more blooms to bud out. It’s been such a cool freak of nature to me, I’ve just never seen anything like it, that it was fun to share somewhere with people who enjoy the like things. Have any of you ever had a giant cosmo like this?
