A date night for Jacquees nearly ended in disaster after his ex stalked him throughout the evening.

The R&B vocalist recounted the incident on the Tuesday (Oct. 20) episode of Rickey Smiley’s On the Spot podcast, although he didn’t specify who the ex or his date was. Around the 23-minute mark, Jacquees remembers that he was “fresh out of a relationship,” but despite him telling his ex that it was over between them, the ex apparently wouldn’t accept it.

The “B.E.D.” artist and his date were visiting a restaurant in Atlanta when his former girlfriend had also “pulled up” on purpose. As Jacquees recalls, his ex approached their table, where he confirmed that he was seeing another woman.

“But she chased my car the whole night,” he continued. “[She] waited on me to leave. Then when I left, I'm looking in my rearview mirror like, ‘I know this ain't what's her name behind me.’ She followed me all the way back to the hood.”
