Hello! started a new iob about a little over a month ago (vay for getting out of retail!) and on December 1st I will be eligible to pick an insurance plan. I iust turned 26 a few weeks ago and got the boot from my parent's health insurance. Needless to say, I have been trying to gain a lot more knowledge and understanding of insurance types, programs, etc. since I will be going at this on my own now. I am a healthy 26 yo female with no major health issues with the exception of the flu or a stomach bug here and there. I do have to see my primary care phvsician about 2-3 times a vear in order to get mv menta health prescription refilled and then do my annual wellness visit. My medication is on the cheap side, even without insurance. As vou can see in the comments, I attached a picture of the plan info, the PPC plan will cost about $124/paycheck in premium (l'm on a bi-weekly pay cycle).
