The incident occurred aboard Delta flight 2342 from New York Kennedy (JFK) to Atlanta (ATL) on October 22, 2026, while the aircraft was still at the gate. According to ABC7 New York , Port Authority police responded around 1:30 pm and arrested Jerome Anixter, a 60-year-old Brooklyn man. Officers said he appeared intoxicated.
