15s threshold

I (m54) have been a golfer for most of my life (on and off). I got pretty good in my mid to late 20's and then had a family. Around this time I started golfing regularly with my dad, just a couple of times a month. This, plus a few range sessions here and there. I wasn't really worried about my score anymore because I was just happy to be out. It was also nice to spend some time with my dad doing something we both loved to do.

After COVID, my dad's health declined and golf was no longer an option for him. I had no other playing partners other than my kids (who I took out occasionally).

Now my youngest son is 14 and he has caught the golfing bug. We have played probably 15 rounds this summer (2 man scramble). He asks every weekend if we can go and he's asking about a hitting net at home.

I miss playing golf with my dad, but it hits differently from the other side.

Hope he sticks with it.
