Paul Hollywood and Nigella Lawson on 'The Great British Bake Off' (PA)

Clara, a 24-year-old marketing graduate from Portugal, has become the sixth contestant to be eliminated from The Great British Bake Off following a challenging pastry week.

Tom, a 25-year-old hairdresser, earned the star baker title for the third time this series after impressing judges Paul Hollywood and Nigella Lawson across three pastry-themed tasks.

The remaining bakers were tested on handheld savoury pies for the signature bake, a Polish choux pastry dessert for the technical challenge, and a decorative pie for the final showstopper round.

Reflecting on her departure, Clara expressed pride in pushing past her disorder to compete on the show and shared her hope that her journey inspires other aspiring bakers.

Clara follows previously eliminated contestants Danni, Shannon, Molly, Nikki, and Yannis, with the competition set to continue next Tuesday at 8pm on Channel 4.
