I found a used UX1 piano that's around 40 years old and has a lovely sound and am trying to decide whether to buy it. It has a Genio Neo-S built in (around 20 years old built in by the dealer), so aside from the control box being old with less options to choose from, the bigger concern is that when playing, the response varied between keys in a way that the piano didn't show when being played in the acoustic mode. I checked and it looks like a simple swap out of the control box to a newer model might not be possible. i'm planning to call a technician who has experience with silent systems (he installs the PianoDisc Pro system) to get his thoughts and perhaps have him inspect the piano, but I also wanted to see if anyone has experience with the older Genio systems to know if a sound can be modified. Can you equalize the sound, e.g. turn down the treble, turn up the bass, or is it what it is?…
