Intel Corp. agreed to buy Israeli startup Classiq Technologies Ltd. as part of a push to capitalize on quantum computing, a still-nascent field that is seeking commercial applications.
The chipmaker didn’t disclose the price it’s paying for Classiq, whose clients include BMW AG and AT&T Inc. The announcement comes just head of Intel’s third-quarter earnings report Thursday.
