Quantum-Lattice (QL) is a proof-of-work chain written in Rust whose transactions are signed with ML-DSA-65 (NIST FIPS 204), a post-quantum signature scheme. This week we're shipping Fork 3 , which activates at block 36,450 (expected around Monday).

What changes

Until now a payment was signed over sender || receiver || amount . That is enough to authorise a payment, but nothing ties a signature to one particular moment or chain. Fork 3 closes that gap.

From block 36,450 a payment is signed over:

"QLTX2" || chain_id || sender || receiver || amount || nonce

chain_id makes a signature valid on this chain only.

nonce is a per-account transaction counter. Each account's transactions must arrive in strict sequence (0, 1, 2, …), so a signed payment can be included exactly once.

Nodes now apply a block's transactions all-or-nothing , so one invalid transaction can't leave a block half-applied.

Addresses, balances and keys are untouched.…
