Hello!

I have been dealing with a somewhat lengthy insurance & roof replacement issue starting back in March 2025. Our insurance has finally agreed to replace our roof after we now have internal water stains on our ceiling. Our current roof has asphalt shingles everywhere when it probably should have had something else at least on our low pitch on an addition in the back. We live in an older neighborhood where no one has metal roofs. Our house is cape cod style with some additions on the back so our roof pitch is a mix of super steep and super low. We had considered upgrading to all metal but would have to pay out of pocket to make up for the difference since that is not what our roof has. We had talked with a couple different roofing companies and pricing varied wildly and we finally landed on a company that seemed the easiest to talk to and our friends had used them as well.…
