hello everyone, I’m not fire, but we are middle-aged parents with a teen and a tween and I love the fire concept and I live frugally and abide by a lot of the philosophy

So I bought a brand new car in 2012 which is a Chevy equinox and it’s still running well and I’m using it and I’m planning on passing it down to my new teen driver by the end of the school year

I’ve never really shopped for a used car and I’m looking for some advice

I think I want to get another Chevy equinox

A test drove over a few other cars and I think I just want to stick with what I know and I’m looking to buy something two or three years old

So I did some test drives and what advice can you guys give me for buying a used car?

How do I know if I’m not getting screwed by getting a bad car? Do I focus on the miles of the year?…
